
C Wonder
C is the initial of both the words Camp and Culture (and coincidentally also the initial of Chiara, founder of the Company!).
The Camp Culture is a system of education, learning and growth, which has no age limits and that we deeply believe in, based on our personal experiences and professional training.
But that’s not all! If you like to play with words and sounds, you will have certainly noticed that in English C is pronounced the same as see.
This double meaning of the sound C felt simply perfect for our company name!
Moving on to the term Wonder: it can be a verb or a noun, with no spelling differences.
On the Dictionary we read:
Noun
- A feeling of amazement and admiration, caused by something beautiful, remarkable, or unfamiliar.
- A person or thing regarded as very good, remarkable, or effective.
Verb
- Desire to know something; feel curious.
With every project and experience we create and run, we would like to raise curiosity, passion for learning and, consequently, wonder and admiration for the beauty of every new discovery, both about the world and about each other.
Mission and Core Values
We create, promote and run language immersion programs.
Our training, education and wide work experience in language immersion, has constantly underlined and proven these fundamental pillars:

A language is deeply interconnected to the culture from which it originates. The belief to be able to learn one, without understanding the other is a mistake;

A language is not simply a system of syntactic rules and codification of sounds. It is, first and foremost, a strategy to get a message through. It should be approached with this in mind;

Language learning is easier, more immediate, more fun and effective, when it happens through shared experiences.
Camp Culture is the educational system on which our experiences are based.
We developed it drawing inspiration from North American Summer Camps.
First, we thought about the where: a place that feels safe, possibly immersed in nature, essential, different from daily routines, special, adventurous.
In this safe environment, each person challenges oneself, experiencing autonomy and responsibility.
At the same time, each person lives in a community with shared needs.
Then, we thought about the who: a Team of International Counsellors, who guarantee a diverse approach, but all trained the same and with a deep passion and commitment to their role.
They are the ones who can create a safe space, ruled by respect and genuine curiosity for one another.
Every person can share their strengths and work to improve their flaws, supported by the others.
A space where trying, making mistakes and trying again is appreciated and encouraged: this way, everyone feels more at ease in stepping out of one’s comfort zone.
This is where learning happens.
The contents, shared in English, are interesting for all the members of the group, as they are useful to understand daily routines, activities and games.
Each interaction is key to get to know each other better and grow closer.
Desire to communicate and create bonds grows naturally: this creates the perfect environment for learning.
The result? Unparalleled growth, more self awareness, higher self esteem and, as a consequence, also a great language improvement.
We asked ourselves: with such an effective and involving system, why shouldn’t we extend our projects to every moment of the year?
